Snow Day in Baton Rouge

I know when you see these pictures alot of you are thinking "no big deal there's snow on the ground" well it sure suprised us when we woke up on Thursday. It doen't happen that often in Baton Rouge so we were really excited but really cold. Baton Rouge is not prepared for weather like this so we lost our power for a good chunk of the day but it was fun trying to stay warm and playing in the snow for a couple of min. at a time. We also made hot chocolate and ate popcorn (Eriks Favorite). It was a really good day.

I Am Lucky!!

I feel so blessed to be a mother. I am so grateful for Erik and Laney in my life. They brighten up my day. It makes me happy to watch them play and grow. I love their laughs and smiles. I feel so thankful that I get to spend my days with such wonderful little beings. They are amazing and I love them soooo much.

thanksgiving week

We had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa McBride and Aunt Jane. We went on lots of adventures together and ate really yummy food. That's what Thanksgiving is all about, spending time with family and eating really good food.
