Family Portraits

Around the New Year, we took some family pictures in Ramona. We have just now gotten around to posting them on the blog, but thought it is better late than never.

Erik has definitley grown since these pictures were taken, and he doesn't sit still so well anymore.

THE PACIFIER!!!!!!!

Erik loves his pacifier. I think it is one of his favorite things in the whole world. He loves puting it in his mouth himself. The only problem with that is he puts it in wrong and it look like he is pretending to be a puppy with a frizbee in his mouth. He's so funny!!

Going away party!!!

Last night there was a going away party for some families in our ward. They are moving back to the mainland. Here are some of our friends that we have made here in Hawaii.

I Love This Picture!

A couple in our ward took this picture of Spencer and I along time ago at a ward activity. They put it on a CD and gave it to us a few days ago so i decided to post it on our blog. I love this picture of us. I was two months pregnant with Erik at the time.

SAND!!!

The other day Erik and I decided to go to the beach and Erik discovered the sand for the first time. He loved playing in it. By the time we left he was covered in it. He didn't seem to mind though.

Every day's a party with the McBrides

So, not much has changed for us in Hawaii. Work, School and play are the routine, (though for Erik it is all play). But we still want to post some recent pictures, even though there is no significant news to go with them. By the way, check out Lindsay's long flowing hair in the picture above. It is the longest she has ever had it in her entire life!



Erik swings on the swingset behind our apartment. On this particular day, he was pretty cranky. But we managed to get a decently happy shot of him, amid a number of pictures where he is making unhappy faces.

In the midst of march madness, Erik sported the basketball jersey Jane and Jordan gave him. It is blue and gold, even though Cal was not in the tournament.

Erik, Lindsay and I love the book titled Little Duck. This little known literary masterpiece includes games of peek-a-boo and splashing in the water with an adorable baby duck. As you can see, Erik and I are both enthralled with it.

We have to admit that we really like our baby boy. Here is a picture of him and his mom, early in the morning.

Erik's favorite stuffed animal is his monkey, Marley. Marley was a gift from his Grandma-Great and Grandpa-Great. Marley came in the mail on the day Erik was born and was at that time bigger than him.

This little toy is what allows us to get things done around the house. He LOVES it!
