TOMORROW IS SPENCER'S BIRTHDAY!!!!

Laney is getting so big.

I think I get way more excited about it than he does but that is ok. I am just really glad that he is alive and that he is in my world. He is the most amazing person. I love being married to him. I love the adventures we have. He is the best. Spencer, you are my Happy Thought. I hope you have a good weekend and know that I love you more than I ever have before.

Summer

Our little Laney bug!

We love Louisiana, but not the summer heat and humidity. But we try to find ways to keep cool.

Erik doesn't need a diving board or deep water to practice his acrobatics.

These two would be in the water all day if they had their way.

Erik the Fireman!!!

We went on a walk to the fire station in our neighborhood earlier today. It was really fun to see the big trucks and meet the fireman. the fireman was really nice and friendly. Erik loved seeing all the cool things that a fireman has. He love the helmet the most because it had a flash light on it. The fireman was nice enough to take this picture and then email it to me. We had alot of fun at the fire station.

Year One in the Books!

I've finished the first year of the graduate program in History at LSU! By far the most challenging year of school I have ever experienced and it is certainly a relief to have successfully completed it. Now Lindsay and the kids will see far more of me during the Summer.
